We were in need of a new pool liner this spring. After calling several well known pool companies in Richmond, I was frustrated as no one seemed willing to give me a firm in-person estimate (one place even wanted to charge me $75.00 just to come to my home in Ashland for an estimate). I was told pricing could vary by hundreds of dollars depending on what they encountered so I really wanted a face to face estimate. Genaro came out within days of my call with liner samples and gave us an estimate on the spot. He was also the only business I called that would fix a crack in our pool steps at the time of the new liner installation. Everywhere else said they don’t do step repair. And although they worked with a few people that did such repair, I was told I would have to call myself to arrange getting an independent step repair person here while they did the liner. This was very inconvenient and seemed illogical that this was not a service they would offer or be willing to coordinate for their customers. Genaro was personally here to oversee our step repair and do our liner installation. He was very good at communicating with us before, during and after the installation. Best pricing, very professional, personal service. Would highly recommend!!

Unique Pools and Spas provided excellent service when my hot tub completely stopped working. I called Genaro in the evening after work and he was onsite in less than 30min. Genaro fixed the issue quickly and the hot tub was once again functioning. I would DEFINITELY recommend Unique Pools and Spas for any issues. I will be keeping their business card if I need any assistance in the future. I appreciated the quick response the knowledge Genaro provided while on-site.

Genaro was very helpful, direct, and professional. I would definitely recommend him. He was happy to bring me up to speed on what the implications of different choices were, as well as guide me through what made the most sense from his perspective.

Genaro came in and completed the job in a prompt fashion (scheduling and execution). He is very knowledgeable, and was able to diagnose the problem immediately. He also provided us some advice on how to keep the tub in best condition. I believe he saved us a significant amount of money. Will certainly be using him again for our spa service needs.

Unique Pools installed new pool liner for me and it looks wonderful. I couldn’t be happier with his quality workmanship and work ethics. Also, after calling some of competitors he was the most reasonably priced. Pool looks like brand new and wife is happy.

Awesome Service!!!! We received estimates from other pool contractors before choosing Unique Pools and Spas. Genaro not only responded to our call promptly, he came to Prince George’s County from Virginia within days of our initial call, complete with business cards, samples to leave with us to select our liner and a contract. His explanation of the replacement of the pool liner and refinishing of the steps left nothing uncovered. As new pool owners, we knew what to expect, what was happening and why. And when my husband asked if it could be completed by the 4th of July — Genaro never flinched — he just said he’d try and on July 1st, less than two weeks after the initial call — our pool looks like new. And everything was done on time and professionally. I’d recommend Unique Pools and Spas to anyone!! Wish I could post my before and after pictures here!

Excellent customer service. The technician called me back within twenty minutes of me leaving a message. He informed me that he could come over the same night, and arrived within an hour. Right on time. He talked with me for a while and then took a look under my hot tub. He found the problem (set up wiring) and fixed it. Very reasonable rates. I would definitely recommend Unique Pools and Spas to anyone who needs their services.

Great experience with Unique Pools and Spas! I called on a Saturday afternoon and the owner of the company was at my door within the hour. He was very knowledgeable/professional, quickly identified the issue with my hot tub and had all the parts with him to fix everything that day. I’m relatively new to owning a hot tub and he was also giving me a bunch of tips as he was fixing the tub without trying to sell me a bunch of other stuff. Reasonably priced as well, I would highly recommend.
